Christmas on High
Christmas on High will be a celebration of unlimited Christmas trees in Southend, Lower Hutt. ‘Southend’ is the area around the southern end of High Street, up to Margaret Street, including Laings Road, Andrews Ave, Margaret Street, Dudley Street and Queens Drive.
SEBG feels bringing festivity to High Street in the lead up to Christmas will increase foot traffic to the area to help boost business profile and sales. We can achieve this by bringing visitors onto the streets to view the Christmas tree trail created by all of us.
We need you to create your own unique Christmas tree fitting your brand. There are no restrictions on materials used, shape or size. This is an opportunity to get your creative juices flowing!
In support of your effort we can offer creative advice or assistance with creating your own company tree. Please get in touch with Cyndi Christensen, Hutt City Council CBD Development Manager at Cyndi.Christensen@huttcity.govt.nz, who will connect you with local artists and creative’s to assist with developing or implementing a concept.
The Christmas trees will be showcased in Southend from 1 December until 31 December.
